Provision of Service:

We process personal data to offer and deliver services. In this case, the processing of personal data is based on the agreement between you and Valjas Services Oy.

Marketing:

We process data to inform you about new services and to send newsletters and sales materials. We may also process your data for marketing research and customer surveys.

Legal Obligations:

Personal data is processed to fulfill statutory and official obligations (e.g., tax authorities).

The purpose of processing personal data is customer communication, maintaining the customer relationship, and appropriate commercial activities and marketing.

In addition, personal data is collected from tax authorities, the Social Insurance Institution, accident insurance companies, trade unions, enforcement authorities, and other entities whose information needs to be processed for payroll purposes.

Valjas may disclose personal data to other parties for advertising measurement purposes and marketing research in accordance with applicable regulations.

Valjas does not sell or rent personal data to other parties.

Valjas may be required to disclose personal data if applicable law or regulation or a request from a judicial or administrative authority requires it.

Data may also be transferred outside the EU or EEA by the data controller when our partner responsible for carrying out the assignment is located outside these areas. In such cases, we ensure appropriate safeguards to protect the rights and freedoms of the data subjects in accordance with applicable data protection laws, such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (679/2016).

For example, our marketing service provider may transfer personal data outside the EU or EEA in connection with providing the service. Every person in the registry has the right to check the information stored about them and to request the correction of any incorrect information or the completion of incomplete information. The data controller may request the person making the request to prove their identity. The data controller will respond to the customer within the time frame specified in the EU Data Protection Regulation (usually within one month).

A person in the registry has the right to request the deletion of their personal data from the registry (“the right to be forgotten”). Similarly, the registered persons have other rights in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation, such as the right to restrict the processing of personal data in certain situations.
