The story of Valjas

Accounting was initially a side issue

I started my first business during my matriculation leave in 2001. The company was an online shop for dvd movies. I decided to learn how to keep accounts and to do the bookkeeping for my company myself. I found it interesting to learn accounting.

It was about a year later when my friend asked me if I could do his bookkeeping too. I took up the challenge and started an accountancy firm. Clients gradually started to come from friends, but for years the business was a sideline…
